Police seeking info on December baseball bat assault in Rosedale

AssaultPolice in Baltimore County are asking for the public’s help with information regarding the assault of a teenager in Rosedale at the end of 2017.

At just after 1:00 p.m. on December 20, 2017, officers responded to the 4700 block of Stellabrooke Lane (21237) for a serious assault. Police learned that a 14-year-old boy was returning home from school with a relative and, as he got out of a vehicle, he was approached by an individual struck several times with a baseball bat.



After assaulting the child, the suspect fled the scene. The teenager was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Detectives have been unable to identify a suspect. The only description is someone wearing all black clothing, approximately 5’10” in height, and weighing 175 pounds.
