Additional suspects charged in connection with fight at Perry Hall High School

Gun Perry Hall High School 1Police in Baltimore County announced on Thursday that they had identified additional suspects who have been charged for their involvement in the January 18th fight in the parking lot of Perry Hall High School.

Jahnie Peets, 22, and K-Lan Peets, 18, both of Perry Hall (21236), have been charged on criminal summonses.



Peets has been charged with second degree assault and disrupting school activities. Peets has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault and disrupting school activities.

Police say they have also charged two juveniles with assault after the boys were identified during the investigation.

Last month, police arrested Darren Keith Bennett Jr., 18, of Nottingham, in connection with the incident. He was charged with possessing a weapon on school property after he was caught on film carrying an Airsoft rifle.

Video of the brawl at Perry Hall High School went viral last month as it circulated around the internet.

“I appreciate the hard work of our Baltimore County Police Department in completing this investigation,” said Councilman David Marks. “I repeat my hope that these individuals receive tough penalties that deter future behavior by them and anyone else at Perry Hall High School.”
