Police investigating 4 robberies, attempted burglary

Police LightsPolice are investigating four robberies and a burglary that were reported over the weekend.

At 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, four individuals assaulted a juvenile in the 9400 block of Scott Moore Way in Perry Hall (21128).  The suspect’s stole the juvenile’s money and cell phone, then fled the scene.

At 6 a.m. on Friday, December 15, two people were walking in the area of Compass Road and Chandelle Road in Middle River (21220) when two individuals approached them from behind, assaulted one of the victims, and stole her tote bag.



At just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, an individual was approached by a suspect in a parking lot in the 8600 block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). At gunpoint, the suspect demanded the victim’s wallet, took cash from the wallet, and then fled on foot.

At around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 17, a man caused a false fire alarm and attempted to gain entry to an apartment at the Southfield Apartments located on Bedrock Circle (21236). The suspect was arrested.

At 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, a female pizza delivery driver was approached by an individual in the area of Glenwood Road and Old Eastern Avenue in Essex (21221). The man asked the delivery driver for a cigarette. When the driver told the suspect that she did not have any cigarettes, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
