Armed homeowner scares off burglar, windows broken along Joppa Road

police-lightsPolice are investigating several recent crimes that have been reported over the past week.

At 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, a burglar broke into a home in the 8200 block of Berryfield Drive in Perry Hall (21236) by pushing open a basement window. The suspect was confronted by the armed homeowner causing the suspect to flee the scene. Nothing was stolen.



At about 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 7, an individual shattered the front glass window at the Premier Driving School and the Roulas Salon & Spa, both located in the 4100 block of E. Joppa Road (21236).  The suspect rummaged through several drawers but nothing was stolen.

At 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, while getting clothing out of his trunk, a man was approached by an armed suspect in the 400 Block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221). The suspect robbed the victim of his cash, then fled the scene.
