Two-alarm apartment fire rages in Rosedale

FireUPDATE: Authorities say one firefighter was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The Red Cross is assisting 5-10 residents who have been displaced as a result of the fire.

Crews are on the scene of a Thursday afternoon apartment fire in Rosedale.

At just before 4:30 p.m., units responded to the 7500 block of Stonecutter Court (21237).

At the scene, crews found heavy fire showing from the second and third floors of a three-story apartment building.

A second alarm has been sounded and additional units are en route to the scene.

There has been no word on any injuries.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
