Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz announced on Friday that the county’s new Animal Services Adoption Express, affectionately dubbed the “Cuddle Shuttle,” will be making its public debut this weekend at community holiday events.
The $182,000 customized mobile adoption vehicle will visit community events year-round to offer convenient opportunities for people to adopt pets from Baltimore County Animal Services.
“Our Animal Services team is doing a tremendous job with adoptions and live releases from the animal shelter and this new mobile unit is a great tool to help us get the word out and find loving homes for our adoptable pets,” said County Executive Kamenetz. “We invite community groups and organizations to request our Cuddle Shuttle to participate in community events all around the County.”
The Adoption Express will appear in the following events on Saturday, December 2:
- White Marsh Holiday Parade, 10 a.m., The Avenue at White Marsh, 8125 Honeygo Blvd., White Marsh; http://www.theavenueatwhitemarsh.com/events/detail/19th-annual-holiday-parade/
