Police investigate 3 robberies, 3 burglaries over Thanksgiving holiday

Police GraphicPolice are investigating three burglaries and three robberies that were reported over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 23, and 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 26, an individual gained entry into an apartment on Highhaven Place (21236). Once inside, the suspect(s) stole clothing, electronics, and jewelry.

At 6:15 p.m. on Friday, November 24, a Papa John’s delivery driver was robbed by an individual in the 1100 block of Tace Drive in Essex (21221). The suspect then fled the scene.



At just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, three juveniles assaulted a Jilliano’s delivery driver in the 300 block of Grovethorn Road in Middle River (21220) and stole his cash and food items. One of the juveniles was arrested.

At about 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, an individual entered a residence in the 8300 block of Poplar Mill Road (21236) via a broken window. While inside, the suspect stole the victims’ property. The suspect then returned to the scene to return the stolen property and was subsequently arrested.

At 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, two victims were assaulted and robbed by three armed individuals as they were entering their apartment building in the 2300 block of Salem Village Road in Parkville (21234). The suspects then fled the scene.

At about 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, an individual used a rock to break the bottom half of the glass front door of the J. Convenience store, located in the 8700 block of Satyr Hill Road in Parkville (21234), to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect stole cartons of cigarettes and cash from the register.
