Police say an arrest has been made in connection with Monday evening’s shooting in Middle River.
At about 5:45 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to the 500 block of Compass Road (21220) for a report of a shooting.
Detectives have determined that the victim invited a friend to the home on Compass Road, but when that friend brought additional men that the victim didn’t know, a fight broke out inside the home.
One of the unknown men pulled out a handgun and fired at least one shot, striking the victim, a 26-year-old man, in the upper body. He remains in fair condition at a local hospital.
Overnight, detectives were able to develop suspect information that led them to Pennsylvania where they have made an arrest in the case. The name of the suspect has not yet been released, pending extradition to Baltimore County.
Anyone with additional information on this crime or suspect is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020.
