Parkville Bank Robber Cecil County FireA man wanted for a pair of bank robberies in the Parkville area has died.

The FBI says that the man wanted for robbing a pair of M&T Bank branches was killed in a Sunday night house fire in Cecil County.

The suspect was believed to be responsible for the October 30, 2017, robbery of the M&T Bank located at 8200 Harford Road and the November 3, 2017, robbery of the M&T Bank located at 8812 Waltham Woods Road.

Authorities say that at about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday night, the FBI Baltimore Violent Crimes Task Force attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a home on McGrady Road in Rising Sun.

The suspect did not comply with officers and barricaded himself inside the home.

The home then caught fire and the man was subsequently found dead inside. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

The Maryland Office of State Fire Marshal is investigating the blaze.  Preliminary reports would seem to indicate that the suspect may have set fire to the home, according to the Cecil County Fire Blog.
