Police investigating assault, 2 robberies, 2 burglaries

Police LightsPolice are investigating an assault, two robberies, and two burglaries that were reported over the past week.

At 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, an individual fired buckshot from a shotgun at another vehicle in the 1500 block of Williams Avenue in Essex (21221). No one in the vehicle was injured, but a bystander who was struck in the lower body later responded to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.



Sometime between 8:20 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, an individual gained entry into an apartment on Haylock Court (21236) via a window and stole jewelry, cash, and a game system.

Sometime between 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. on Friday, November 6, two unknown suspects entered a home on Radar Court in Parkville (21234) via an unlocked basement door. The house was ransacked and a game system, games, an iPod, and a watch were stolen.

At 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, three individuals, two of them armed, approached a group of people in an alley in the 5600 block of Utrecht Road (21206) and robbed them of their cell phones.

At just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, after pulling into a driveway, a woman was confronted by two individuals she entered her garage in the 9100 block of Panorama Drive in Perry Hall (21128).  One armed suspect grabbed the victim’s purse. Both suspects ran down the driveway, assaulted the other victim and then fled the scene.
