Police in Baltimore County are investigating five robberies that were reported on Halloween.
At 1 a.m. on October 31, a man ripped the purse from a woman’s shoulder in the area of Franklin Square Drive and Castlestone Drive in Rosedale (21237), then assaulted the victim and fled the scene.
Sometime between noon and 4 p.m., an individual assaulted a woman in the 100 block of Orville Road in Essex (21221), then stole cash from her purse.
At 3 p.m., a man assaulted another man at the McDonald’s located in the 1400 block of Martin Boulevard in Middle River (21220) and stole his cell phone. The suspect was located and arrested.
At 7:30 p.m., a group of juveniles assaulted three victims in the area of Arncliffe Road and Corby Road in Essex (21221) and stole a rubber clown mask and a cell phone.
Also at 7:30 p.m., a man entered the 7-Eleven located in the 6400 block of Golden Ring Road in Rosedale (21237) and produced a handgun. The suspect instructed the clerk to empty both registers and then fled the scene.
