Police are investigating an attempted robbery and two commercial burglaries that were reported over the weekend.
Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, and 9 a.m. on Friday, October 27, an individual entered a construction site in the 7000 block of Rossville Boulevard in Rosedale (21237). The suspect stole several items, including a generator, copper piping, and copper fittings.
At 1:30 a.m. on Friday, two individuals shattered the front window at Venus Pizza, located in the 7600 block of Belair Road in Overlea (21236), and stole money from the cash register. One of the suspects, a juvenile, was apprehended and the other suspect fled.
At just after 3:30 p.m. on Friday, three juveniles were walking in the Parkville area when a vehicle pulled up, the driver pointed a gun at them and demanded their shoes. All three victims ran away and the suspect sped away.
