Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the weekend.
Sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20, and 11 a.m. on Monday, October 23, an individual cut the screen to the basement door of a dwelling in the 2200 block of Ellen Avenue in Parkville (21234). The door was locked and no entry was gained.
Sometime between 12:30 and 3:15 p.m. on Monday, an individual broke into a residence on Fox Brier Lane (21236) via an unsecured garage door. The suspect ransacked a bedroom and stole cash and jewelry.
At about 11:45 p.m. on Monday, an individual kicked in the front door to gain entry to a home on Luff Court in Essex (21221). The suspect assaulted the victim at knifepoint and fled the scene.
At just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, October 24, a cab driver was robbed of his cash at gunpoint by an individual on Ambo Circle in Middle River (21220).
