Police are investigating a fatal, Wednesday night motorcycle crash that occurred in Essex.
At about 9:30 p.m., authorities responded to a fatal collision on Eastern Boulevard at Wilbur Road (21221). Investigators have determined that a 2011 Nissan Maxima was traveling west on Eastern Boulevard when the driver attempted to turned left onto Wilbur Road.
The Maxima turned in front of a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle which was traveling in the opposite direction on Eastern Avenue. The driver of the motorcycle struck the other vehicle and was ejected from his bike.
He has been identified as Anthony Hinton, 57, of the 3000-block of Ross Avenue, 21219. Hinton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
