Police are investigating two carjackings that were reported in the Parkville area this week.
At just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, a man drove a couple to their destination in the 7500 block of Oakleigh Road (21234). One party exited the vehicle and said he would return with money to pay for the ride. The suspect returned with a rifle and demanded that the driver exit the vehicle. The couple then fled the scene in the victim’s car.
In another incident, authorities say an elderly man was carjacked in the 1800 block of Loch Shiel Road (21234) at about 2 p.m. on Monday, September 18. There, police say three juveniles knocked the victim to the ground, took his car keys, and fled the scene in the victim’s 2016 Toyota Corolla (Maryland license plate number 1CE6592).
Anyone with information on either of these incidents is asked to call Baltimore County police at 410-307-2020.
