A 9-year-old baseball player from Joppatowne is going places.
Cameron Morgan, a White Marsh Warriors pitcher, recently participated in the Baseball Youth Future Games in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Morgan, one of 200 young players from 10 different states, was selected to join the Baseball Youth Elite. He pitched four shutout innings in South Carolina, according to his father, Joe Morgan.
He will now play in the Ripken Experience Halloween Tournament in Tennessee. Cameron will also participate in the All-American Games from December 27 – 30 in Orlando, Florida.
A GoFundMe page has been established to help Cameron’s parents pay for his travels.
