Police investigate auto theft, 3 burglaries

Police LightsPolice are investigating an auto theft and three burglaries that were reported this week.

Sometime between 10 p.m. on September 1 and 1 a.m. on September 4, an individual entered a residence in the 8100 block of Edwill Avenue in Rosedale (21237) via an unlocked door.  The suspect stole jewelry and a handgun before fleeing the scene.



Sometime between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, an individual forced open a back window to gain entry into a residence in the 8600 block of Trumps Mill Road in Rosedale (21237). A handgun and jewelry were stolen.

At 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a known individual forcefully took someone’s vehicle in the 12500 block of Eastern Avenue in Middle River (21220). The vehicle was later recovered.

At just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, an individual attempted to break into a residence in the 11500 block of Philadelphia Road in White Marsh (21162) via a rear door. When the suspect saw the occupant, the suspect fled the scene.
