A firefighter was injured while trying to raise money for charity in Rosedale on Sunday.
At just before 11:30 a.m., a firefighter who was attempting to fill the boot for the Muscular Dystrophy Association was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Rossville Boulevard.
The firefighter, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene.
