Police investigating 4 local burglaries

burglaryPolice are investigating four local burglaries that were reported this week.

Sometime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, August 28, an individual entered a home on Hoban Court in Nottingham (21236) via an unlocked kitchen window and removed a game system, jewelry, and a safe.



Sometime between 9 and 10 p.m. on Monday, an individual attempted to gain entry through a rear window into the Ed Winkler & Son Inc. jewelry store, located in the 8400 block of Harford Road in Parkville (21234). No entry was gained.

At about 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, four individuals forced entry into the a shed in the 7900 block of Redmore Road in Rosedale (21237). The suspects fled when confronted by the owner. One arrest was made. It is unknown if any property was taken.

At just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, two individuals who were fleeing from another crime scene attempted to enter a residence in the 1100 block of Rosedale Avenue in Rosedale (21237) through the front door. The door was locked and no entry was made. The suspects continued to flee.
