Police investigating 2 robberies, 2 burglaries

Police GraphicPolice are investigating two robberies and two burglaries that were reported this week.

At 2:20 a.m. on Monday, August 7, two indiviudals robbed a man of his cell phone at gunpoint in the area of Luff Court and Tripgate Road in Essex (21221).



At just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, an individual entered the Wendy’s located in the 3000 block of Joppa Road in Carney (21234) via an unlocked door and, at gunpoint, demanded money. The suspect placed the money in a bag and then fled the scene.

At about 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, two individuals entered the Toscana Italian Deli, located in the 9900 block of Harford Road in Carney (21234), via an unlocked door and stole a cash drawer.

Sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, an individual entered an apartment in the 8400 block of Nunley Drive in Parkville (21234) through a window and stole miscellaneous items.
