Work to result in temporary overnight closures of highway ramps in NE Baltimore

I-95The roadwork continues this week in northeastern Baltimore County.

The Maryland Transportation Authority says that the ramps from northbound Interstate 95 and southbound I-95 to I-695 East (Inner Loop) will be closed overnight.



The detour will direct motorists to I-695 West (Outer Loop), to southbound US 1 (Exit 32A/Belair Road), to I-695 East (Inner Loop).

The ramp from I-695 East (Inner Loop) to MD 7 (Exit 34, Philadelphia Road) will be closed overnight. The detour will direct motorists to eastbound US 40 (Exit 35B), to I-695 West (Outer Loop), to MD 7 (Exit 34, Philadelphia Road).

The ramps from I-695 West (Outer Loop) to I-95 (Exit 33) will be closed overnight. The detour will direct motorists to southbound US 1 (Exit 32A/ Bel Air Road), to I-695 East (Inner Loop), to I-95 (Exit 33).

Weather permitting, the ramps from I-95 to I-695 East (Inner Loop) and the ramp from I-695 East (Inner Loop) to MD 7 (Exit 34, Philadelphia Road) will be closed Monday, July 31, through Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Weather permitting, the ramps from I-695 West (Outer Loop) to I-95 will be closed Thursday, Aug. 3, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Crews will be paving as part of the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) I-95 Improvement Project with Express Toll Lanes (ETL). The project at the I-95/I-695 interchange will reconstruct and realign I-695 from US 1 to MD 7 (Philadelphia Road).
