Police investigating robbery, 2 burglaries

Police LightsPolice are investigating a robbery and two burglaries that were reported this week.

At about 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, a man pointed a gun at two people in the 400 block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221) and demanded their money and cell phones. The suspect then fled the scene.



Sometime between 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, and 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, an individual shattered the glass door to the Super Latienda Latina store, located in the 8200 block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). Once inside, the suspect stole the cash register. The cash register was later recovered.

At about 1:30 a.m. on Friday, July 28, an individual forced entry into the China 1, located in the 6200 block of Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale (21237), and stole cash from the cash register.
