Police are investigating two burglaries, a robbery, and an assault on a police officer that have been reported over the past week.
At just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, two individuals forced entry into Sir Michael’s Auto Sales, located in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237), and stole two vehicles, numerous car keys, and registration plates. The suspects were later apprehended.
At just after 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, a police officer was assaulted while attempting to arrest a suspect in connection with another first-degree assault in the 5200 block of Trumps Mill Road in Rosedale (21237). The female suspect assaulted the officer by purposely scratching him with her fingernails and bracelet during handcuffing.
Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, and 3 a.m. on Friday, July 21, an individual entered an apartment in the 7400 block of Meadow Branch Court in Rosedale (21237) via the kitchen window. The suspect stole various items before fleeing the scene.
At just after 10 p.m. on Friday, July 21, a Papa Johns delivery driver returned to his vehicle after a delivery in the 1100 block of Sandystone Road in Essex (21221), when an individual approached his vehicle, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. The victim gave the suspect the money and the suspect then fled the scene.
