Authorities say a stolen vehicle pursuit ended with a bang in Joppa over the weekend.
At just before 9 a.m. on Sunday morning, a state trooper tried to stop a white 1999 BMW along southbound Interstate 95 in Harford County for failure to maintain a single lane.
The vehicle did not stop, resulting in a pursuit.
Upon checking the vehicles plates, the trooper noticed that the vehicle had been reported stolen.
The BMW continued south on I-95 before taking Exit 74, where the driver lost control and struck a curb on Mountain Road (MD-152), ending the pursuit.
The state trooper waited for backup and took the suspect into custody without further incident. The suspect was not injured and has not been identified by police.
