Police investigating 2 robberies, 2 burglaries

Police LightsPolice in Baltimore County are investigating two local robberies and two local burglaries – two of which involved auto thefts – that were reported this week.

Sometime between 4 and 9 p.m. on Monday, June 26, an individual entered a home in the 6000 block of Marquette Road in Overlea (21206) via an unlocked rear window. Several items were stolen, including a vehicle key. The suspect then stole the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene.



At 2 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, three individuals entered a residence in the 8000 block of Philadelphia Road (21237) via an unlocked front window. Once inside, the suspects stole keys, a purse and a satchel. The suspects also stole the victim’s vehicle.

At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, a man was approached by two suspects in the 200 block of Southeastern Terrace in Essex (21221). One of the suspects was armed. The armed suspect assaulted the man and then stole his cash and tablet. The two suspects then fled the scene.

At about 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, a pizza delivery driver was assaulted and robbed of cash and food in the 1100 block of Sandystone Road in Essex (21221).
