Police investigating local burglaries, robberies

police-lightsPolice are investigating a series of local burglaries and robberies that were reported over the weekend.

Sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, someone forced open the bedroom window to a home on Sagebrush Court in Nottingham (21236) and stole a firearm.

Sometime between 9:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Friday, an individual kicked open the basement door to a home in the 9400 block of Concord Court in Parkville (21234) to gain entry and stole a game system.



At 2:55 p.m. on Friday, a man was approached by an armed individual in the 6400 block of Petrie Way in Rosedale (21237). The suspect demanded the victim’s property, then assaulted the victim and then fled the scene.

At 3 p.m. on Friday, a woman was approached by an armed suspect in the area of Ross Ridge Road and Arrowood Court in Rosedale (21237). The suspect stole the victim’s purse, a cell phone and a wallet before fleeing the scene.

At 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, an individual smashed a rear ground level window to gain entry to an apartment on Catoctin Court in Rosedale (21237). The suspect stole cash from the apartment, then fled the scene.
