Police warn of rash of burglaries in Nottingham neighborhood

burglaryPolice are warning residents of a rash of burglaries in one Nottingham neighborhood.

Since April 25, authorities say there have been seven residential burglaries and attempted burglaries in the Dunfield area.



Residences targeted include rowhomes, townhomes, and apartments. Three cases occurred during overnight hours. The others occurred sometime between early morning and late evening.

Front doors or windows were forced open or entry was made through unlocked rear windows. Items taken include purses, game systems, TV, jewelry and money.

The Baltimore County Police Department is encouraging residents to lock all their homes’ doors and windows. Citizens should also keep an eye on their neighborhood and report any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity to police immediately.
