Police investigate local stabbing, assault, robbery

Crime ScenePolice are investigating a stabbing, an assault, and a robbery that were reported this week.

At about 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, a man met his boss in a parking lot in the 7900 block of Belair Road, 21236, to discuss a money issue.  The boss proceeded to stab the man then fled the scene. There has been no update on the man’s condition.



At just after 3:30 a.m. on Monday, May 22, a woman was visiting her boyfriend in the 7800 block of Birmingham Avenue, 21234.  The boyfriend assaulted the woman and he was later arrested.

At 7:30 a.m. on Monday, two individuals approached a woman from the rear in the 4800 block of Hazelwood Avenue, 21206. The suspects attempted to pull the woman’s purse off of her arm. The woman held onto the purse and the suspects were only able to grab one item. The suspects then fled the scene fled on foot.
