Police investigate local shooting, sex offense, explosive device

Police GraphicPolice are investigating a number of unusual crimes reported in northeastern Baltimore County this month.

At about 11 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, an individual fired a gunshot into the side of a man’s vehicle while he was driving on Ebenezer Road from Pulaski Highway in White Marsh.

At about 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, a female employee was hugged and kissed by an unknown male customer while working at that Walmart located in the 6400 Block of Petrie Way, 21237.



At around 8:45 a.m. on Friday, May 5, three individuals approached a man at the corner of Pulaski Highway and Ebenezer Road, 21162. One of the suspects, displaying a gun, demanded money from the victim. The victim gave the three suspects his wallet and a ring and the suspects then fled the scene.

At just after midnight on Saturday, May 6, someone set off a small explosive device, possibly a firecracker, in the door frame of a home in the 7200 block of Gunpowder Road, 21220, causing damage to the door.

At about 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, a man was walking on Glenwood Road in Essex, when he was approached by four individuals.  The four suspects approached, assaulted the man, and stole his cash.
