Rash of recent, local burglaries continues

Police LightsPolice continue to investigate a rash of burglaries that have been reported within the past week.  In addition to the burglaries listed here, police listed the burglaries below on Tuesday.

Sometime between 5 a.m. on May 5 and 8 a.m. on May 8, an individual entered Orbit Technologies’ construction site, located in the 5200 Block of King Avenue, 21237, and stole copper wire. The suspect then fled the scene.



Sometime between 1 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. on Monday, May 8, an individual made entry to a home on Cartwright Court, 21237, via a back door. Once inside, the suspect damaged and stole the victim’s property.

Sometime between 11:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Monday, an individual entered an apartment in the 1200 block of Handsworth Place, 21221, and stole household goods before fleeing the scene.

Sometime between 2 and 5 p.m. on Monday, a man entered an apartment on Oak Grove Drive, 21220, and stole three TVs and a game system.

At around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, an individual climbed through a window to a residence in the 7500 block of Belair Road, 21236, and stole cash from a lockbox located in a bedroom and then fled. The suspect was arrested.
