Police investigating several local burglaries & thefts

Police GraphicPolice are investigating several local burglaries and thefts that were reported over the past week.

After just after midnight on Thursday, May 4, an individual entered the Moose Lodge, located in the 8100 block of Philadelphia Road, 21237, then used a tool to cut the metal hinges to open the metal gate. The suspect stole aluminum cans.



Sometime after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, an individual entered an unsecured back yard in the 2800 block of Erie Avenue, 21234, then entered a shed and stole several pieces of lawn equipment.

Sometime after 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, an individual entered a residence in the 5200 block of Torrington Circle, 21237, via a sliding glass door. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry then fled the scene.

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, and 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, a man broke into a residence in the 1200 block of Primrose Avenue, 21237, through a rear window. The suspect stole a purse containing a vehicle key and then stole the vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered.

Sometime between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Friday, an individual entered a residence on Gavan Green, 21236, via a second floor window. Once inside, the home was ransacked, a safe was pried open, and items were stolen.
