Police investigate convenience store robbery, commercial burglary

Police LightsPolice are investigating a convenience store robbery in Rosedale and a commercial burglary in Essex that were reported this week.

At about 11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, someone broke the front doors to the 2nd Ave Value Stores – located on Stemmers Run Road, 21221 – and then forced open a side door.



Once inside, the suspect stole sports memorabilia and a radio before fleeing the scene.

At about 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, an individual entered the Royal Farms store located in the 7900 block of Pulaski Highway, 21237, displayed a gun and stole cash and cigarettes.

The suspect then fled the scene.
