Police investigating robbery, several burglaries

Police GraphicPolice are investigating a robbery and several burglaries that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, and 6:15 p.m. on Friday, March 24, someone broke into a storage container on the victim’s property, located in the 10800 block of Pfeffers Road, 21087, by cutting the lock. No property was taken.

Sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, an an individual entered a home in the 5300 block of Abbeywood Court, 21237, via a sliding glass door. Once inside, the suspect stole personal items before fleeing the scene.

At about 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, after returning to their vehicle in the 1700 block of Chesaco Avenue, 21237, two victims were assaulted by an unknown armed suspect. The suspect stole cash from one of the victims and then fled.



Sometime between 8 p.m. on Friday, March 24 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, someone entered a residence in the 5600 block of Whitby Road, 21206, through the back door. The suspect stole clothing, two handguns, jewelry, a purse and two video games.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, three suspects broke into the rear of Big Laundromat Lavanderia, located in the 400 block of Eastern Boulevard, 21221, by breaking a piece of plywood which was sealing the entrance. Nothing was taken and one juvenile suspect was apprehended.

Sometime between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, an individual forced in the front door of an apartment in the 1200 block of Handsworth Place, 21221. A television, a DVD player, a cell phone, and various shoes were stolen.

At just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, an individual gained entry into a home in the 5400 block of Balistan Road, 21237, via an unsecured kitchen window, which sounded the alarm. The inside appeared to be untouched and no damage was observed.
