The results are in and event organizers say they raised over $160,000 for pediatric cancer research over the weekend.
More than 1,000 people came to Middle River to watch 140 people shave their heads at Martin’s East on Sunday.
Organizers of the 9th annual Baltimore Heroes event to benefit St. Baldrick’s said they raised about $168,000 this year and have raised over $1 million since the event began back in 2009.
Forty children who have beaten, battled or died from pediatric cancer were also honored at this year’s event.
