Police are investigating after several commercial robberies and burglaries were reported over the past week.
At 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, someone entered Our Lady Queen of Peace, located in the 10000 block of Bird River Road, 21220, by forcing open one of the rear doors. Once inside, the church was vandalized, items were destroyed, and food items were stolen.
At 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, six individuals entered Club 7400, located in the 7400 block of Pulaski Highway, 21237, then made a forced entry into the store through the front door. The suspects removed locks and pried open the door, then stole an ATM, a cash register drawer, and a bottle of liquor. The suspects fled the scene in two pickup trucks.
At just before 5 a.m. on March 14, a man carrying a gun entered the 7-Eleven located in the 1900 block of Eastern Boulevard, 21221, then took money from the clerk and the cash register. The suspect also stole cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
