Police are investigating several local burglaries that were reported to authorities this week.
Sometime between noon on January 21 and and 7:30 p.m. on February 21, someone entered an apartment in the 1000 block of South Marlyn Avenue, 21221, and stole three cell phones and office supplies.
At about 2:30 a.m. on February 21, three suspects used a floor jack to pry open the rear garage at a residence in the 800 block of Middle River Road, 21220. One of the suspects in the garage was confronted by the victim and ran away with the other two suspects. No property was taken.
Sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. on February 21, someone entered a home in the 6600 block of Ridgeborne Drive, 21237, possibly through the unsecured back sliding glass door. Once inside, the suspect stole cash and jewelry and then fled the scene.
At around 2:15 p.m. on February 21, a man entered a residence in the 1400 block of Spring Avenue, 21237, and stole various pieces of jewelry. The suspect was arrested as he was leaving the residence.
