A rescue operation is underway at this hour following a Monday night crash in Fallston. 

At about 8:30 p.m., rescue crews responded to an accident at the intersection of Harford Road and Fallston/Mountain Road. 

The intersection has been shut down while units from Fallston Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Company, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, and Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company work to rescue one patient at the scene. 

Motorists should avoid the area.
