Police investigating 4 local burglaries

burglaryPolice are investigating 4 local residential and commercial burglaries that were reported this week.

Sometime between 8 a.m. on January 22 and 6 p.m. on February 11, someone attempted to enter a residence in the 7900 block of Ardmore Avenue, 21234, by prying open the rear door. No entry was gained and nothing was stolen.



Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on February 11 and 8:50 a.m. on February 13, someone kicked in the rear door of the Lutheran Mission Society, located on Eastern Boulevard in Essex. Once inside, the cash register was opened, but nothing was taken.

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on February 11 and 9:22 a.m. on February 13, an individual gained entry through the rear door of Beer’s Tax & Accounting, located on Margaret Avenue in Essex, by kicking and prying the door. Three computer monitors and a safe were stolen.

At 8:30 p.m. on February 13, two juveniles forced entry into the Sha Vicks Hair Studio, located in the 700 block of Mace Avenue in Essex, and stole soda. One juvenile was apprehended, while the second juvenile suspect ran away. The second juvenile was later apprehended.
