Police investigating 4 residential burglaries

burglaryPolice are investigating four residential burglaries that have been reported over the past few days.

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20, and 7 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, someone into a residence on Barnwell Court, 21234, via a rear bedroom window. The suspects stole several electronic items before fleeing the scene.



Between noon and 1 p.m. on Monday, January 23, a neighbor noticed that the screen to a home was damaged and a window was open in the 7900 block of Vernon Avenue, 21236, causing an alarm to sound. There was no entry made into the residence.

At just after 1 p.m. on January 23, an individual forced entry into a residence in the 3700 block of Red Berry Way, 21234, through a kitchen window. Once inside, the suspect stole several items including two handguns.

At 2:30 p.m., someone kicked in the basement door to a home in the 5700 block of Whitby Road, 21206. Once inside, the suspect stole a nail gun before fleeing the scene.
