Police are investigating after one local business was robbed and another burglarized over the weekend.
At 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, two men entered the Royal Farms store located in the 2700 block of Taylor Avenue, 21234, demanded cash and removed cigarettes from behind the front counter. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot.
Sometime between 10 p.m. on Friday, December 16, and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, someone pried open the front door of Universal Pizza, located in the 8200 block of Old Philadelphia Road, 21237. Once inside, the suspect stole, cash, electronic equipment, food and miscellaneous items.
In a third incident, at around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 18, unknown suspects were attempting to gain entry into the Vape Time store, located in the 4100 block of Joppa Road, 21236, when they were scared off by the owners. The rear door was damaged, but no entry was gained.
Police have not released descriptions of the suspect(s). No one was injured in any of the above incidents.
