Police are investigating after a delivery driver thwarted a carjacking attempt in Essex.

At about 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, two individuals approached a delivery driver at Berkshire Road and Magnolia Trail, 21221.

One of the suspects displayed a handgun.

The suspects demanded cash and also demanded the driver’s vehicle.

The driver managed to fight off the suspects and the pair then fled the scene.
