Paramedics were on the scene of a crash involving a child in Joppa on Friday morning.

At just after 8:30 a.m., crews responded to the area of Joppa Farm Road at Duryea Drive.

At the scene, emergency personnel found that a child had been struck by a vehicle.

The child is said to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is being transported to Franklin Square Hospital for treatment.

Motorists should expect delays in the area.
