Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the neck during an altercation in Middle River over the weekend.

At about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, two acquaintances got into a fist fight on the grounds of the Oak Grove Apartment complex along Oak Grove Drive, 21220.

During the brawl, the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck with a knife and then fled the scene on foot.

The victim was treated at a hospital for his injuries and is expected to survive.
