Police investigating four burglaries in Essex

BurglaryPolice in Baltimore County are investigating four burglaries and attempted burglaries that were reported to the Essex Precinct.

At about 8:40 p.m. on Friday, September 23, someone kicked open the front door of a residence on Benoni Circle, 21220. The suspect locked himself and the victim inside the house. Officers successfully breached the door and placed the suspect under arrest.



Sometime between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, someone removed an air conditioner unit from the window of a residence in the 12300 block of Eastern Avenue, 21220, in order to gain entry to the home. The suspect stole cash, prescription drugs and electronics.

Sometime between 1 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sept. 25, someone broke the locked wooden fence to gain entry into the backyard of a residence in the 700 block of Mansfield Road, 21221. The suspect then attempted to gain entry into the house through the back window but was unsuccessful. Nothing was taken.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 26, two homes along Chadford Court, 21221, were burglarized by two suspects. The suspects stole a game system, video games and accessories from one home. One suspect was apprehended and all items were recovered.
