The company that makes some tasty Easter treats is moving to White Marsh.
Ruxton Chocolates, the company behind Mary Sue Easter eggs, will be moving from Baltimore City to the Baltimore Crossroads development along Route 43 in White Marsh.
The Baltimore County Council approved the necessary bond proposal on Monday.
The candy company will be shuttering its plants in Woodberry and on Caton Avenue, according to The Baltimore Sun.
The new facility will be built by 1412 Tangier LLC.
Ruxton Chocolates bought Mary Sue for $890,000 in 2001.
Construction on the new facility should begin next month, and it is slated to open in June 2017.
