If you’re traveling along I-95 north this Labor Day evening, be prepared to sit in traffic. 

The Maryland Transportation Authority is advising that all lanes of northbound Interstate 95 on the northeast side, prior to I-695, are now shut down due to a crash. 

The crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on Monday. 

Injuries have been reported, however there has been no update on the severity of those injuries. 

Motorists should avoid the area.
