Crews are responding to the scene of two Parkville-area fires caused by severe storms that swept through the region on Monday night.
At about 7:30 p.m., fire personnel responded to a dwelling fire in the 3300 block of Acton Road that was reportedly caused by a lightning strike.
At about the same time, crews also responded to the 3300 block of Willioughby Road, where two sheds were ablaze as a result of lightning in the area.
There has been no update on any injuries.
Motorists should use caution in the area.
