A search is underway at this hour after a theft at White Marsh Mall. 

Police were actively searching the Perry Hall Boulevard area for a suspect on Monday night after a reported “large theft” from the mall. 

A police helicopter is assisting with the search. 

Details have not yet been released regarding what was stolen.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
