Weather permitting, one lane along eastbound or westbound Campbell Boulevard between Honeygo Boulevard and Franklin Square Drive in White Marsh will be temporarily closed early next week.
The Nottingham Square shopping center entrance closest to the I-95 overpass will be closed to all traffic during the periodic closures of the eastbound lane. A temporary pedestrian walkway is located along the work zone on westbound Campbell Boulevard.
Closures will begin Monday, June 13, and last until late August. Lane closures are anticipated during the following work hours: Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Saturday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. as a backup. All dates and times are approximate and dependent on weather or other variables.
The work is part of the Maryland Transportation Authority‘s (MDTA) I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETL) Project. Campbell Boulevard will be widened to five lanes — two lanes in each direction and a new center left-turn lane into Nottingham Square — for improved traffic flow. A new pedestrian sidewalk will also be constructed along eastbound Campbell Boulevard.
