Pedestrian struck, killed on Pulaski Highway

The preliminary investigation into the crash indicates that just before midnight a woman was with friends when she attempted to cross Pulaski Highway at Stevens Road in White Marsh. As she crossed north on Pulaski Highway she was struck by a motorist traveling east-bound. There is no crosswalk at this intersection.



The driver of the vehicle, a teal Honda Civic, immediately stopped and remained at the scene. The victim, identified as Tami Lee Somerville, 26, of the 11000 block of Red Lion Road in White Marsh, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

An investigation is under way after a pedestrian was struck and killed in White Marsh overnight.

At around midnight, emergency personnel responded to Pulaski Highway at Stevens Road for a report of a pedestrian struck.

The pedestrian died as a result of her injuries.

She has been identified as 26-year-old Tami Lee Somerville.

The driver remained at the scene but has not yet been identified pending the results of an investigation.
